Examples: Being able to tank a country level explosion/energy blast, but get injured by a mountain level physical strike.

Is split durability legit? I think it’s stupid. Discuss.

Makes no sense to me. Energy is energy and punches should hold even less energy on impact than an energy blast, so....

Luffy tanked and destroyed a Country busting energy attack but he could die to a sword stab to his brain.

I think there might be a slight difference, but it shouldn’t be great enough where the disparity causes one to try and honestly support something like split durability.

Energy doesn’t work like that.

EDIT:
Oh shit, I forgot. lolfiction.

Because he has human skin.

His skin isn’t hard, so the sword can go through him.

It’s a contradiction then.
It still wouldn’t make sense (even if lolfiction) for you to die of mountain energy attacks, yet tank Country-Busters.
Does anyone have an example of “split” durability actually happening?

WTF?! That’s just plain ridiculous no matter how immune you are to blunt attacks there’s no way he could’ve done that.

If fiction deems you can tank a Big Bang but killed by a tooth pick that let it be so (*-*)

I can’t think of any.

@Clit
Yeah, I know. Just wondering if anybody supports it here, because I don’t think a thread like this was made yet.
