*Common armed Marine soldier: 10 Doriki
(Similiar right?)
Which would mean That douriki and Power Levels on Dbz are Alike

Master Roshis power level was 139 when he destroyed the Moon and master roshi is a regular Human.

If a farmer holding a shot gun power level was 5 and a common marine soldier is 10

100 marine Soldiers combined would have the power level of 1,000
10x100
But going by strength it would be 1,000+ to be correct

100 farmers with a shotgun would have
The power level of 500

*Lucci untransformed: 4000 Doriki untransformed *Lucci transformed: >4000 *Luffy=Lucci transformed

Now its timeskip and luffy clearly doubled his pretimeskip strength. Powerscaling his power level is over 10,000.
Which is around gokus power level when he fought nappa.

But with this being said luffys power level is obviously above the farners power level of 5 and its certainly above 100
Which 139 is enough to bust the Moon.

Post your opinions about this
And make your assumptions of luffys actual power level

1) You cannot scale their power levels linearly. Destroying the Moon is around 10^21 times more powerful than a shotgun.

2) The power scales in DBZ and other anime shows are not even internally consistent anyway.

On that scale, with 10 being a machine gun, 139 would have to be a multi-exponential, so 100 guys with machine guns would not be 1000; It would be more like 10.1.

100 guys with machine guns wouldn’t even make a dent in the Moon. It would stir up some dust, and the bullets would bounce of the Corundum crust beneath.

So basically, by saying that Luffy' s power level scaled would be over 10,000 is also saying that he’s over 9000 already. Are we sure about this? I mean, I’m a huge OP fan and DBZ fan, and I know Luffy’s strength versus that of the dbz universe, but I know that by that point 9000 was a pretty powerful power level. Straw Hat is only 19 years old now, so imagine what his power level will amount to in the late future when he’s a full-fledged adult and king of the pirates?!

And yes, in the world of OP Magikarp is an Emperor level character close to a god.

After studying the numbers of the power scales mentioned above, it is pretty obvious the writers picked random numbers when assigning power scales to characters or feats. A simple exponential curve or double exponential curve can’t even connect the dots between the power levels of a machine gun and moon busting.

Basically when they wanted to rate a character stronger the authors picked a random number larger than the other character and just went with it, so that there is no sensible way to scale the character’s power based on their “power level” from the lore.

Give it up, and just use a logarithmic scale of the required energy to perform a feat, like I’ve been suggesting for years...

Lies

Not a lie you’d know that if you watched either of the shows.

This is a bit like the Warp Speed factor in Star Trek.

In the original movies and (most of) TNG the warp speed factor was the cube of the factor up to nine, and then followed an exponential where “ten” would be an infinite speed.

On the final episode of TNG there was a “future enterprise” which had a warp factor of 13, even though this contradicts a couple decades worth of lore before that.

It looks like they forgot what their own numbers meant, and went back to using the “cube of N” rule, even for numbers above 9, even though the “warp 10 is impossible” rule had been used at least as far back as the 4th movie.

The lore in the television shows and movies is busted anyway, because for example, if you had the Enterprise B (Enterprise show) and were traveling at Warp 5 (125 times the speed of light,) to proxima centauri the trip would take 10.5 days. In the show the ship makes the trip in a few hours, based on scaling other journeys seen in the show.

Why are we all fretting over this? Mountain levels, island levels, power scaling?! I’m pretty 100% sure that everyone knows that it’s no contest on who would win a match between Goku and Luffy....Goku!(For anyone who says Luffy would beat Goku has obviously not seen DBZ at all, either that or you’re Yamcha)

Yep totally sure, and King of the Pirates Luffy is way stronger than that.

Yeah I just realized something. If Luffy were in the dbz universe then he’d get trashed by the Namek Saga

Android Saga Level? Well I guess ur right now that i think about it. Luffy would lose to Cell but in my opinion might be able to beat Nappa by this point

If we make a comparison between reed and Luffy powers that will make Luffy win. Here you go justotakuthings.com/blogs/news/luffy-vs-reed
