I bet he blushed while he was singing that. After all, those are the only 2 things he can do.

I actually liked PPG. A good deal. Then they made that disappointing PPG...dance pants? That recent one...that...shitty one...

You mean that new one with the 3d animation?

That had nothing to do with the original, that’s like saying DBZ isn’t good because of GT

Yep.
I might not hate it, but to say I liked it, would be a massive lie.

It was based clearly off of PPG. That special, thing, might not be part of the original series, but since it essentially branches off of it, in a way, it’s a PPG episode, technically.

Then GT is essentially a part of Dragon Ball - thus rendering an overall enjoyable, though somewhat repetitive series with flaws to a cash cow that never dies.

Honestly I have no idea who CN is catering to. I don’t think they even know, to be honest. They tried getting the crowd that watch Disney’s and Nick’s weird...Sitcoms? Well, they tried to get that crowd but failed utterly. They make AT and Regular Show to cater to some other crowd I can’t identify, and now nearly every show they’ve made since seems to be them trying to create the next Adventure Time...Meanwhile, anyone who likes action cartoons ain’t gonna find shit on CN.

True talk tho, I like Steven Universe. Regular Show is easily the greatest, most original show they’ve produced in years. It isn’t so quirky that you want to die.

I love regular show.

Gumball, Regular Show, and Steven’s Universe are preety fun. ( Haven’t really sat down and watched Adventure Time, but the episodes I watched were preety good.)

I also should give props to Teen Titans Go. Sure, it’s nothing like the original, but all of a sudden it’s super funny.

The true problem CN has is with action cartoons. Why did they cancel Young justice? Symbionic Titan? Thundercats? It just irks me that every action show they cancel.

I don’t know the whole issue, but part of it...

Was toys. Either the show didn’t have a toyline (Green Lantern, Symbionic Titan) or the toyline bombed (Young Justice, Thundercats), and CN executives used that as an excuse to cancel each show. GL got screwed by the Green Lantern Movie (no one wanted to make a toyline after that movie and it’s toyline bombed), and it seems CN was too darn lazy to find someone to make Symbionic Titan toys. No one even knew the Young Justice toys existed, and even when people did they were crappy and not worth buying, or they were really good but overpriced, and they didn’t even release all of the characters kids would want (most of the Team didn’t get toys at all). Don’t know why Thundercats failed, though. Maybe lack of advertising?

Basically, if an action show doesn’t have a good, successful toyline, CN won’t support it. But who knows? Stuart Snyder isn’t in control anymore, so maybe we’ll see things change within the next few years?
