Question wrote: What are the gif restrictions for avatar & signatures?

size in dimensions & memory please?

I forgot.

Avatars in general can be up to 4000x4000 pixels and 5 MB in size, though they are always resized into a thumbnail of reasonable dimensions when they appear in posts.
Animated GIFs, more specifically, only animate in the thumbnail if the width is no more than 150 pixels and the length no more than 300. I do not recall the restriction as far as size at this time; my apologies. (As a clarification, avatars should always be animated in the direct uploaded file when clicked, provided it was uploaded correctly, though this is hardly useful.)

Signatures are checked as far as only allowing one embedded image or video of no more than 600x400 pixels; I believe there is also a limit of five line breaks and five hundred characters in the signature field.

I hope I answered your question sufficiently! ^^

EDIT: Please do note, in the future, that such inquiries belong to this thread. tounge I do plan on creating an FAQ divulging such largely undocumented information as the above at some point, though that is contingent on time and Bjane’s willingness to provide what I lack.

I wanna fuck you so hard while you’re squirming and make you come ten times, you’re gonna be my lover. grin
