Akira Toriyama said Roshi’s Moon buster was an outlier. The thread just got solo’ed.

No, Its because he Flawed his powers like USSJ. Concreting on Power alone

Other than that he would never touch moon level

Yeah pretty much, or else he could have soloed the red ribbon army.

A gag feat would be, for instance, if someone like Hercule destroyed the moon by farting. Or when Arale punched the planet in half.

It was a serious fight, and thus is a serious feat.

Outlier maybe, but there is no way that was a gag feat

He blew up the moon with no consiquences and not to mention that later on it’s there again like nothing happened.

1. It’s a gag feat.
2. DBZ verse moon is 10 km away from the earth’s atmosphere and is building sized.

Pick one.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but aren’t gag feats used for comedic purposes?

Master Roshi destroys the moon to make Goku turn back to normal and he did it when he was half dead.

There’s also a script which shows Toriyama stating himself that the moon is 380,000km away

Gag feat - anything that is too idiotic to be taken serious or to be considered a legit feat.

But sure call it plot device or outliner i don’t really care.

Or we go with option number 3 and call it a plot device/outlier.
