Several years ago, one brave, hardboiled detective defeated the evil Demonhead Mobster Kingpin (DMK) and saved countless lives from his tyranny in the most epic, astronomically impossible fight known to the prohibition era. Now, the great grandson of DMK is charged with clearing his family’s name and washing their hands of his unforgivable deeds. He calls himself Hero Boy Kingpin, and in order to meet his goal, he must gather up his vim and build the greatest team of badass heroic gangsters and conquer some awesome feat that will earn him fame.

I’m still working on making the villains but I can tell you that one of them is a werewolf. Players can also make villains.

This is a second person rp.

Heroes so far:

Villains so far:

(to be assigned and named)

All characters have slight reality warping abilities. (those with a high imagination stat will have stronger powers)

Stats:

Vim (strength)
Imagination (degree of psychic/reality warping ability)
Pulchritude/Charisma (good looks and communicative charm)
Sick Burn Meter (fluctuates in your favor or against you the better your burns are or how badly you’re burned. Affects your temper and ability to think straight)
Fucks to give (committing to an act of Heroism or Villainy costs fucks. Ignoring a person in need or passing up any kind of opportunity makes you retain one fuck. One fuck is expended to give you enough willpower to commit to one task. Depending on the number of fucks retained, one can muster a large enough amount to give one huge fuck and ignite maximum willpower depending on the difficulty of the task as well as how much you actually care about the task.

More stats can be made up as the story goes along.

Characters must be hand drawn in order to be submitted. I will post a picture of HBK and the werewolf in order to give an example of the drawing style, but you can draw them as crazy as you want.

Quick question: What do you mean by 'second person RP'? Like, everyone would say 'you' instead of *insert character name*?

I’m down to RP though. I’ll be a vampire named Spencer, and my power will be telekinesis.

That’s what second person means my friend. And yay! Just draw him up in such a format and make his profile. Be sure to look at the drawings I made as examples. I’m going to fix them right now actually.

I don’t think that calling everyone 'you' will work as an RP though. I know Homestuck does it, but they don’t consistently switch characters with every page.

And I’ll get my drawing in tomorrow at some point. It’s too late today.

Alright I guess. I mean, it always works for me. But if it will make trouble for the players I’ll change it. I just like to carry the tradition, y’know?

You could say 'you' and everyone else just says whoever they are, as if this would be a story towards your character.

But then everyone else would have to be my character because they’d have to say you when making reverence to my character. Either I’d need to conform to third person, or if we do second person, we’ll just put our character’s name at the top to eliminate confusion.

I want to use third-person, second person is (IMO) unnatural.

I like the idea, at least enough that it’s worth a shot.

I’m sorry, *you like the idea.

If there’s going to be an argument I’m just going to say conform to third. If there are enough people who want to do second, I’ll make using either style optional.

HEY GUYS GUESS WHO ZEED IS RPING AS

Stats:
Vim: 9/10 when fighting for himself, 10/10 with 255% chance of critical hits when fighting for his friends.
Imagination: Rather low. He is rather crafty, especially in regards to his friends, he does not feel morally good about altering reality to his whims. His only reality warping is for his sword to levitate midair when he is using a variation of Aether or Great Aether.
Pulchritude/Charisma: Is a war hero that brought back a dying nation. Charisma is at a 8/10, and a 10/10 to his friends.
Sick Burn Meter: An infinite amount, if dissing those who dissed his friends. Even then, his diss meter is maximum. You won’t get any sympathy from him.
Fucks to give: An infinite amount, if he is fighting for his friends. Otherwise, he has at least eighty with regaining one fuck per hour.

Omg. You should be a DLC character. Accepted!

Or we can just ignore him like we should be doing.

And sure.
