Ace stared boringly at the guy drinking a milkshake. “Shut up or do I really have to show you but then I wiill kill you before the tournament." muttered Ace. He decided to check out the so called mystery museum. He looked at the other six contestants. “Well isn’t that terrific we have milk shake guy, nerd, pesky little brat, a defenseless woman, average Joe, and fan girl well isn’t that nice,“said ace loud enough for everyone to here clearly

A girl of about 6 walked down a path and looked in awe at the big building she had tears streaming down her face and was determined to prove herself. Where she was from she was a orphan on the streets whom was not respected. Her green eyes simmered and when she walked in the big building a lady stopped her. “Your ability? Asked the woman. “I can make ghosts mainly animal ghost.“weapon?“the lady asked once again. “I use thorns like needles replied the girl. She decided to go see the museum people were talking about but numbed into a guy with a milkshake. She started to cry and everyone stared at her which made her cry even more. (Keep in mind she is a ordinary seven year old just with odd abilities)

Tara paused during her walk to the nearest staircase. Some commotion emanating from behind her echoed through the immaculate marble walls. A swift whirl on her heel brought her sight to a small collection of three people, one of whom seemed hell-bent on starting something in the hallways.

“Doesn’t he know how this place works?“

“Apparently not,“ she whispered under her breath. Slowly, but nonchalantly, she slipped toward one wall and leaned against it. Her arms crossed over her breast as she watched the apparently testosterone-fueled nightmare of a mind bully a projection that looked to be no more than six years old. Young apparitions weren’t impossible nor, necessarily, uncommon, but the childish commotion kicked up was either the best acting she had seen inside someone’s head, or...

“Gonna do something about it?“

“Give it time.“ They generally agreed that combat outside of sport and defense was...well, poor sport. Yet, where he was brazen and acted upon his thoughts on a whim (when she hadn’t silenced him, at least), she was methodical and calculated. To any passer-by, she seemed to just be watching the events unfold quite passively. But inside her id, she silently calculated with her better half: areas, ranges, circumferences and volumes. Even a calculation in extra-dimensions made its way inside the thought process.

As Ace busied himself with threatening someone she certainly hadn’t a hope of recognizing, a column of blue, concentric rings appeared about the male, accompanied by a mostly transparent hollow cylinder of glowing mist. They didn’t bind him particularly tightly—he was just as free to move his limbs about as he wished—but the circle kept him in place and silent. His abrasive voice silenced and his threats of physical violence (so preposterous in a dream world, but she simply shrugged at that) quelled, she tilted her chestnut-laden head back to call to the three so-called 'victims'.

“Take advantage of it,“ she said to the small girl and the other person he had taunted, still standing and acting as though she was as far from the cause of the binding as possible. Such a barrier was, typically, not easy to maintain and if whatever chaos Ace had started was to be halted, they would have to get away with relative haste, lest the barrier fall with them still about.

As for her own 'safety'? She’d been there before, far too often. A calculating and methodological approach was enough of an immunity for her to handle that kind of bratty attitude.

The little girl stared at the lady standing there and nodded reading her thoughts. She stood up and threw a couple of thorns perfectly accurate at the b ully’s throat. “Back off"she said quietly.

Ace stepped aside and the thorns Zoom past.“I have to say for a girl your age you have great accuracy if I was a normal person you could have got me"mutter Ace. He pulled out his knife and threw it directly at the girl.

Tara blinked as the thorns harmlessly bounced off the cylindrical barrier, and the knife followed suit as the two items clunked to the floor. Perhaps, she thought in hindsight, she should have been a bit more clear on what 'take advantage of it' meant. She had figured the girl, despite her youth, would’ve known—or at least assumed—that what keeps things in also keeps things out, but maybe she was even younger than her mental appearance displayed.

“J-just, get going,“ she said, somewhat flustered between the suddenly strange action and the maintaining of the barrier. “Anywhere, just away,“ she tacked on quickly, nodding over her own shoulder with a bit of fervor to encourage the little one to skedaddle.

[[OOC: It even says that the circle would keep him silent... ]]

Anne had wide eyes and she decided to follow this strange woman quietly trying to keep her distance. Who could she possibly be Ann though to herself while hiding behind a plant.

Ace decided he wouldn’t waste his time with this woman and her stupid barriers. He summoned up a small amount of inner energy and was able to walk out of the barrier. He mentally cursed himself and decided to be less annoying the next time he met someone here. He walked past tara his head down he gave a slight side glance. “You have a interesting ability,“muttered ace. He walked off into the museum.

You are nice and i don’t wanna fight you but it isn’t like I will last very long against anyone here only the best of the best enter"continued Anne. “The thing is I came here to prove myself since I am a orphan I am used to being neglected but I came here with a new hope a brighter future so I dont plan on losing!" Said anne tears in her eyes.

Rei finally arrived at the museum, looking over everything to see if there was anything he should take to memory. Envisioning every weapon he saw, it’s shape, structure, appearance, and the matter that made it up, memorizing absolutely everything about any weapon he saw. The boy took note in particular of a scimitar with a curved black blade, taking every curb into his mind and reimagining it in his mind’s eye.

Alexander glanced around, a bored expression engrained on his face. Clearly he just wanted this charade to move along.

Emma chuckled to herself. It was pretty amusing to see someone who talked such a big game run off with his tail between his legs. She suddenly burst out laughing, loud enough for everyone to hear.
“Kahahahahahahahah!!! What an amateur."
She continued to the basement floor. She heard there was a training room somewhere. She reached into her coat pocket to look for the map, but she found nothing.
“Damn..."

Tara watched quietly as she allowed Ace to exit her simple barrier. A sideways glance and even more sideways remark were met with silence as the male wandered to the museum, where a few others had gone. She would likely be following after them in short order and her arms slowly dropped to her sides.

“Lady, whoever you are, I hope we don’t have to fight each other in the tournament," a youthful voice pipped up nearby. The taller woman blinked and looked down at Anne, slowly crouching and resting her elbows on her knees. She listened quietly as the little girl spoke then, after a moment’s pause, she responded with a softness to her voice.

“You’ve nothing to prove. This place is for the best of the best, and here you are. That, in itself, will make you a better person,“ Tara said smoothly yet carefully. She smiled warmly yet briefly as she stood up, swiveled on a heel, and began to follow the others toward the museum.

Rei smiled, having fully absorbed six more weapons into his mind. He smiled as he continued to examine exhibits. Looking at pictures of weapons were nice, but seeing it in it’s three-dimensional shape was even BETTER. After all, in 3D, you can see it’s exact shape, and from that, exactly how it should function. Although articles on that website had much better descriptions. Then he noticed a boy and a girl walk upstairs. He shuddered at the sight of the boy, but took interest in the girl and approached her.

“Hello." he spoke in a soft whisper.

Alexander continued to grow more and more discontent with the museum’s displays. His attention was however drawn to the appearance of an unnatural, bloody scythe however.
He made a mental note of the design for later applications.

Within the momentary privacy of the stairwell, and with a brief glimmer of light, a small fox-like creature appeared on Tara’s shoulder. She seemed not the least bit surprised by her golden-furred friend, even when it spoke to her.

“I’m impressed,“ he said, in obvious reference to her handling of the situation. She smiled and reached a slender hand up, playfully ruffling the fur atop his head and sneaking brief scratches behind his ears.

“Yes you are, my little fluffnugget,“ she spoke with a playful tone as the small fox purred and rubbed its button-black nose against her cheek. Despite a soft giggle from his obvious affection, she remained stern and paused her petting. “Back inside, or no museum for you,“ she scolded with a whisper and, despite a small whimper of protest from the kit, it disappeared as requested.

---

“Hi," she curtly and normally—not cheerily nor derisively—said in response to Rei. She had her right thumb stuffed into the pocket of her jeans, her left hand dangling loosely by her side as she contemplated the male with a calculated eye. Kindness and politeness she had come to expect as a relative standard, but his soft-spokenness made it seem as though he was not normally one to abide. Mayhaps he had something to ask of her?

Rei smiled and walked over to her, his body obscured by his brick red cloak, although there were grey patches on it. His walk was slow, awkward and uneven, before long the teen had approached Tara though.

“Nice handling of the situation with that upstart. I was afraid we were going to have a fight in here." he then turned and looked at the museum. “Amazing so many objects are in good condition, no?"
