Pretty false, with some truths. Stalin’s cult was basically a lesser form of Russia’s long love of its tzars and saints. Cult personalities can follow similar patterns to some religions in terms of praise, structure, and intolerance for criticism. But they generally fall short of being truly divine.

Stalin was in interesting case in that he did the best he could in making him seem like an infallible leader, and had great control of the media to influence the masses. He definitely had some qualities of being godlike. But ultimately his cult fell short since it’s very conception.

Stalin’s cult was just a response to the universal love of Lenin. Stalin was still seen as simply a follower of Lenin years into his rule, and there are conflicting reports as to whether he was okay with this or not. But ultimately Lenin’s criticisms of Stalin were well known all throughout Russia. And ultimately his cult died the moment he did (although he still remained fairly popular). Thus although it had its very devoted followers, the cult was never reached the level of being seen as “sacred” or worthy of religious worship.

But regardless Macho, Stalin was just one era of the soviet union. The fact is that by the time of the cold war up until the mid 80’s atheism was clearly the major held belief by the populace, from 70-80%. Wasn’t until late 80s that religious belief started to have great increases in Russia.

As for North Korea I can’t say much about it since I don’t really look into it.

Ricdog, I’m not really interested in debates, much less debates were the facts are being called lies. It’s just not worth the time, so I won’t be responding to this. The facts are clear, whether you choose to ignore them is your business. I provided proof with a source, that should be enough to put my position ahead in credibility (at very least).

You could have just stopped at not being interested in debates, the rest is just feel good self endorsements. Really I should have known this when you decided to equate Stalin with the whole Soviet Union.

Facts are one thing, stating faulty conclusions from them is another.

You gave a source. Does it give you better credibility? Considering that such a source wouldn’t even be considered credible in entry level language/debate classes, I say the answer is....meh.

I’m not going to use Google Scholar for debates online.

Done, I’ll edit my post then.

Your sentence is wrong, plain and simple. If you bothered to actually use commas maybe you (if you had the knowledge) could fix it.
And it’s not semantics, it’s proper grammar. We use it to communicate.

Once again, the mexican autist never fails to amaze with the depths of his own stupidity. Apparently you’ve never heard of an “understood subject” in grammar before.

Also ladies and gentleman, here we it is! Mataderp’s signature move, “Just quote iconic historical figures and somehow it’ll make me seem like I actually know what I’m talking about!"

You disgust me you sub-human filth.

That doesn’t apply here.

Context: Joe found his best friend, Ted.

Their your man vs there you are man vs there’s your man vs there you’re man vs they’re your man.

You can use any of those, but they’re not correct. Even if we know what they mean. “Their you’re man” is not correct even if we know what they mean. A grammar mistake, is still a mistake [ here we can apply understood subject and gather that what is still the mistake is your original post and grammar (mistake)].

Wow.
I point out a grammar error and he goes crazy.
The only place where I have appeared superior to you is in your own head, chill. I’m sure you’re an intelligent kid irl, so there’s nothing to feel insecure about. I make threads, such as this one, and read interesting books because it entertains me. I don’t do it to allude intellectual superiority over you.
