Actually there is no proof whatsoever to support any superior being out there in the world that created this world. Its better you simply stick to faith than proving it real.

Well, It’s more believable that there is a God that created this world other than some science theory. If it was science. It would be one hell of a coincidence that it also happened to create everything we need to live off of.

Evolution.

What I have a problem with (as I have said time and time again) is that so many people are under the DELUSION that evolution can’t have a place within religion. Total bullshit.

Has it ever occurred to ANYONE that perhaps God MADE these different scientific laws and simply set the universe in motion.

I can’t say that I’m a typical Christian, because my beliefs don’t exactly follow the Bible. I personally think that God created the world by creating the matter and providing that spark that led to the Big Bang. And He also created all these different scientific laws to govern the universe. I also think that He has the power to intervene whenever He may please, but He chooses not to.

And I’m not positive if I made myself clear just now, but if you understand what I mean, then you will probably see the point I’m trying to get across. If not, I’m sorry I didn’t make myself clear enough or you’re too slow to understand it. Or both.

Well the thing about that is, all of what you just said could be done without any god to spark it. It would actually make less sense if it was god that was the beginning. Some people find the big bang hard to believe because they find it ridiculous that matter could spontaneously come into existence. But like Dawkins said, complex things come into the universe late, as a consequence of slow, gradual, incremental steps. To say the answer to the riddle of the first cause is one of the most complex things in the universe (god) as the beginning is to shoot yourself in the conceptual foot because you are suggesting something far, far more unlikely and complicated than that which you are arguing against.

BTW, if your wondering you would qualify as a theistic evolutionist.

Did you know that scientists used unreal numbers to make the big bang theory make sense? Also I find it hard to believe that our moon just happens to be tilted at the perfect angle, to give us perfectly even seasons. Also our polar ice caps keep our world from being to hot or to cold. I find it very hard to believe that this is all conciednce. So all and all I believe i God, I’m a Christain

You find it harder to believe that matter could spontaneously come into existence than complex intelligent matter spontaneously coming into existence?

Until someone finds proof of Gods existance, no he does not exist.

And don’t read me any scriptures from the Bible... i’ve already read the whole entire book, which has no solid proof of his existance.

I never said I believed in a rock. I just plain don’t know how the universe got here, and I don’t care.

I think you might classify me as Nihilist or Agnostic.

I wasnt talking to you specifically, just all who think the big bang is true or think its “more sense”.

I don’t believe in the big bang theory either. I don’t believe in anything. I don’t see the point in believing in somthing that hasn’t been proven.

I mean its ok to theorize, but i’m not the kind of person to have theories or whatnot.
