Thought as I have seen a lot of these I may as well give it ago with one of my (probably is) favourite series. I know it has already ended but hey.

Just a few things to throw in there:

- Who here has read Trigun?

- Who has seen the Anime?

- Which is your Favourite Character?

- Do you wish anything would of happened differently (Manga/Anime)?

- Any good Match-Ups for VS debates?

ENJOY!

Wolfwood for me, ut that is quite obvious.

I’m hoping they will release a new series based on the manga, its far better.

I read the manga, but i never saw the anime.
I think i will re-read it because it’s been a while.
Favourite characters would be Legato, Wolfwood and Vash, but that’s just off my mind i could list many more.

Read manga, not all.
Know everything about anime.
I was sad when Wolfwood died.
Was sad when Vash pulled the trigun, that Legato asshole.
Loved the ending of the anime.

The main problem I had with the anime was that Legato just seemed by far the strongest character.
More so than knives or vash.
the manga doesn’t have that problem.

I know, Legato controlled an entire village with ease.
Vash vs Knives was to short in the anime was a mere 10 minute.

It is also due to the fact that Legato generally had mind controlling powers in the Anime, while in the manga he used mind control through use of threads.

Actually there isn’t much difference. His threads are pretty much invisible and they are only there to channel his powers and nothing more. If we take all in account he’s even more broken in them manga than he is in the anime. The only thing that prevented him to shitstomp Vash or anyone for that matter was CIS.

Yes, Legato has shown far better uses of his powers in the Manga.

But as you said, if it were not for CIS Legato should have been the dominant force in the anime. If they followed the same thread based mind control in the anime, at least that might have made an excuse to why he stood under Knives.

Well in the manga, because of his mindset he wouldn’t have feared Knives even if he had a reason to do so. But yeah i agree, PIS and CIS are the only things that stop him from raping everyone on sight in both anime and manga.

Off Topic: Damn... i feel like changing my nick, i heared i can chage it every 6 months.

Not sure about the manga, Vash showed resistance to his mind control and Knies showed even more and better mind control/absorption (however you want to take it) than Legato.

Also please don’t change your name, it is hard enough keeping track of who is who as it is shocked

I don’t remeber, can Knives absorb any other things than plants, it’s been a while since i read Trigun?
And it’s not his main mode of attack anyway. I’m pretty sure than anything Vash did was because Legato alowed it.
Oh and i’m just changing my name back to my old one... or mybe King of Heroes because it’s more generic.

'King of Hero' based off Fate/Stay Night/Zero?

he absorbed absorbed a woman in a space shuttle moving at fast speeds outside the stratosphere, with a piece of himself which was a thin as string, which is a pretty decent feat.

Yeah as my old one was “Archer Gilgamesh” and “King of Heroes” would still be connected to him but more common. Either way one of those two will be my permanent one (i think that you could have guessed by now that i’m a Nasuverse fan).

That was by the end of the manga right? Wasn’t she a plant herslef and didn’t he just control and not absorbe her (i might be mixing up stuff)? But yes it was a pretty good feat, also that short distance teleport to espace that blast, and considering how fast it went from up there to him it’s a good reaction speed feat. Anyway i seriously need to re-read Trigun.

Actually you may be right, i remember him mind controling a bunch of humans after that mind you, but yes the one in the ship was a plant... I think... Maybe shocked

But yer i can settle with 'King of Heros' sounds good and I like the FATE series so...
