trying to watch this show, got to the part Rukia is being taken away.

First of all, these hollows come stomping around being invisible breaking buildings and shit all the time and yet the only ones who can deal with them are these soul reaper kids that no one knows about. If this is a common occurrence then why are there no alarms to signify the coming threat to the populace? Why is there no government project to figure out the source of these supernatural invisible beasts that leave footprints in the pavement? Why do souls bleed? It just seems like completely random nonsense. It’s also stupid that the rest of these soul reaper people don’t need to participate in modern society they have all their needs taken care of by soul society apparently and yet even though the fate of the world is in his hands Ichigo still priorities high school into all this like wtf. And is this only happening in Japan what about the rest of the world? None of this makes any sense.

You know Tokyo ghoul? Why is their only ghouls in tokyo and not the rest of the world. Soul reapers can not be seen by mere/regular people unless you’re a human that possess high Reiryoku, you become more sensitive to more spiritual world. I believe they explained in episode 1-7 or so.

Like Fade said. Skip to Soul society arc.

So what normal people can still see the destruction and footprints clearly someone around the world would start questioning wtf this shit is. But everyone seems to not be worried about their own safety when giant invisible monsters keep wrecking their city. Where’s the military?

That’s questionable. Even if the military could see the destruction and buildings breaking, they can not touch or see them at all because they’re intangible. They can’t even go near them because there soul will get crushed by Reiatsu. Someone else could give you a good explanation on about. Go to 11:30 good example(only can find it in dub)

Humans souls gets crushed if it goes anywhere near Soul Reaper/Hollow/Quincy cause of their Reiatsu. Its explained Ichigo vs Kenpachi fight in Soul Society arc.

Bleach is the only manga that gets me hyped when reading it on a weekly basis

That being said, i’mma go ahead and answer your questions.

First of all, these hollows come stomping around being invisible breaking buildings and shit all the time and yet the only ones who can deal with them are these soul reaper kids that no one knows about. If this is a common occurrence then why are there no alarms to signify the coming threat to the populace?

ichigo is the only kid soul reaper that exist, most of them are atleast 50 and up years old so i dunno what you’re talking about here...
Anyway, the destruction of the buildings and stuff is taken care by the soul reapers and all the buildings gets repaired, further more they have devices that erases the memories of the victims like men in black (you can find that on episode 2 in the anime iirc or chapter 2 in the manga) . Sometimes barriers are put in a certain diameter to insure that no collateral damage accures (that’ll happen after soul society arc so you probably didn’t know that)

Why do souls bleed?

that’s a dumb question...souls in bleach doesn’t have to follow the same formula of the things you watched that define what a soul is as you know it. After all, souls doesn’t actually exist as far as we know so there is no objective definition of what a soul is lol

even though the fate of the world is in his hands Ichigo still priorities high school into all this like wtf

ugh...the fate of the world is certainly not in ichigo’s hand at that point. Hell it isn’t even in his hand even this late in the manga. Where you’re at iirc ichigo is merely substituting one single shinigami for one town, there’s like one job a day at most and it only takes minutes to get it done. So this is like asking someone how he can play video games and prioritise school at the same time :/

And is this only happening in Japan what about the rest of the world?

this answer sums it up

You know Tokyo ghoul? Why is their only ghouls in tokyo and not the rest of the world.

and i wouldn’t skip to soul society arc if i were you or things wouldn’t make sense for you even more later on

Tell me, is the only driving plotline to Naruto: Gaiden still that Sarada doesn’t know who her mom is, or did they finally bring that thrilling idea to a close?

...and now OP knows why Bleach always wins without equalization.

bleach does not “always win” without equalization. vs matters do indeed come down to energy and the properties of said energies...but if any given verse has energy at least comparable in properties to reiatsu, or maybe not comparable but powerful and/or versatile in its own ways, then well the energies go at it

equalization is pointless and a subtle form of wanking/downplay, in that it subtly acknowledges a certain verse’s superiority over another, via faulty applications of energy properties (often verse specific applications at that), and thus makes the claim that “only through equalization could this ever be a fair fight”

Without reiatsu they get reiatsu crush.

not if any given verse has an energy with properties, that can counter reiatsu either straight up, or through its own means. ki in dragon ball is an example of an energy that can counter reaitsu straight up (their properties when it comes to all around combat potency amplification are pretty much the same). and then there are energies from other verses, that while they may not by default amplify all around combat capabilities, they can still amplify certain techniques and thus must be look at for their potency in these regards

Not that...I mean shinigami v. [w/e] shouldn’t even be a fight unless w/e has the appropriate attributes to see invisible ghosts (i.e. Samus with her visor tech, or some shit). Its a courtesy to naruto and OP that we just assume shit like “Byakuya can be seen” in matches where he truely shoud be able to lob heads off with no ninja or pirate even being remotely aware why necks are splitting open.
