Quite a short story.

I didn’t really understand all of it since most of the language used-even though it was English- was foreign to me.

What I gathered was that a man went into the forest to accomplish a mission- that I never read what it was about;probably to lose his faith- and he met with a man that put his faith to the test by uncovering secrets of the people Brown admired. In the end he lost succumbed to the devil and lost Faithfaith.

Has anybody else read this book? What was your understanding of it?

It was something to that nature, I believe.

I read for a school assignment a year or two ago, so I don’t remember much, but I did think it was interesting.
