I know what you mean. Everytime I see how many books I yet have to read, I’m always reminded of a quote my teacher had “So many books, so little time”.

You’re into Indian culture? I too want to do some research into India somewhere along the road.

As for the last of the theories, yes the indigenous people of Mexico [Mayans and I would argue other groups like the Toltec and Aztec, even if they did take from the Mayan civilization(I doubt the Toltec did, however)] are the exception, I was glad he acknowledged that much; even if it did severely cripple his theory.

i’ve been reading the silmarillion. man, tolkien did some intense world-building. i don’t think i’ve ever read anything with such a detailed world, and i’m not even finished yet.
