Neither one of those bothers me in the slightest. So if I were moderating, none of them would be moderated.

Possibly all of them depending on who states they have issues with the pictures. Not all examples of pictures that might cause hallucinations are that black and white.

@ Killuminatic: I’m trying to keep this as clean of off-topic (i.e. non-feedback-for-the-rules) as possible. That part of the original rule set hasn’t and will not change.

I don’t even see the question, if a picture causes eye strain / colour disorientation ..it should be removed. Probably the most important rule, who cares if it is subjective. If the moderator deems the picture to be worth deleting/moderating ..it should not be there anyways.

The first post I read and deleted stated that you were going to sit back and await the backlash, or something to that effect: not really anything constituting feedback. If there was another post you made before that that was related to the rules (i.e. some suggestion or another), I neither saw nor deleted that one.

That said, allow us to get back onto the topic.

I don’t know if you’re joking but it absolutely is.

My eyes hurt just resizing the picture.

Why would I joke about such things?

No. They literally don’t bother me. I looked at the picture for nearly 3 minutes. No eye strain was caused. My eyes still as blue as ever btw, perhaps even more blue.

Uh. You should care if it’s subjective or not. And you’re right, if the admin deems the picture worth moderating it doesn’t need to be there. But that has not been established for all those types of images. This goes down to the mod would have to take the user’s word for it. Perhaps there is a health issue that you don’t know and the picture you just posted causes someone to have a panic attack. Should it be moderated and not allowed just because of the possibility? Of course not. This is why people should take their own precautions rather than making it a nanny state for pictures.

I am making this final:

I have added a note in the “seizure picture” rule that forbids the examples Athena used, i.e. “psychedelic pictures”, in the same manner that brightly flashing pictures are forbidden without sufficient warnings. I cannot extend the rule into areas such as optical illusions as some may cause eye strain and others may not.

@ Kenpachi: sexual flirting between people of any sexual orientation is permissible so long as both are of age. If there’s an issue between those two flirting, it might be of age, but it most certainly is not nor will ever be orientation.

I guess what he’s asking is: Why is it okay to flirt with the opposite gender but not the same sex?

Quit being homophobic. It shouldn’t and doesn’t affect you in the slightest. And neither of them have a problem with it. And they’re joking. You’re looking like a real ass.

I love rule no 5! For some reason, I think it’s about time that some site limited the amount of times you use swear words. because after a while, it becomes repetitive when used, and soon just becomes mindless rambling. I think swearing should only be used to emphasize a point, and not just be used at utter random.

Not being homophobic. Flirting should be strictly PM’s

I think it’s pretty silly to limit it tbh.

@GK: Flirting with minors is banned. Flirting with someone who tells you to stop is banned. Not flirting in general. So again, what’s wrong with gay flirting? And why did you have to make a distinction between it and “normal” flirting?

Yeah, but I think that they at least THOUGHT to limit it, allowed for the use of them to be based more around making an emphasis, and not spewing it everywhere. I will agree, the limit is a little stricter than it needs to be, but at least it won’t allow for rampant use of them to the point where the sentences, or the post as a whole, is just worthless rambling, involving the words, fuck, shit, and other common swear words.
